We stumbled upon The Lodge At Reventazon River Mountain Ranch while searching for a place near rafting. Although it's an hour's drive away, the views, remote location, and delicious homemade food by Annette were worth it. The property's rustic cottages offer splendid views of the valley and Turrialba volcano. Steven, the manager, was very helpful and organized a cocoa plantation tour for us. The challenging drive was part of the adventure, but totally doable with a standard SUV. Highly recommend.

The view from our cabin was absolutely stunning! We could see the breathtaking sunrise every morning and it made the entire stay worthwhile. The cabin itself was cozy and had all the necessary comforts. the guided horseback riding experience was amazing, thanks to our wonderful guide Walter. It truly allowed us to appreciate the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel.

There were a few aspects that we didn't enjoy. there was an awkward moment with one of the staff members during check-out.

During my recent travel to Turrialba, I had the opportunity to stay at the Lodge At Reventazon River Mountain Ranch. One of the positive aspects of this accommodation is its location in close proximity to the nearest airport, which is only 59 km away. This made it very convenient for transit purposes and saved me a lot of time and hassle during my journey. the Lodge boasts superb views, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic beauty of the surrounding area.

It is important to note that the Lodge At Reventazon River Mountain Ranch may not be suitable for prolonged stays, especially during periods of heavy rainfall. The road leading to the accommodation can become very challenging to navigate, even for those with a 4x4 vehicle like myself.

The view from Lodge At Reventazon River Mountain Ranch is absolutely breathtaking. Being on top of the world and seeing the valley, volcanoes, and stars was truly incredible. The cabins were clean, modern, and eco-friendly, providing a comfortable stay. Despite the lack of AC or fan, the cool elevation made it comfortable to sleep at night. The fridge was a great convenience. The owner, Harry, was a delightful person and his wife, Annette, was responsive to our questions. The breakfast served was delicious, and they even lent river shoes to my wife for rafting. This place is highly recommended, and I would love to come back and stay longer.

While the location and amenities were exceptional, there were a few drawbacks. the communication could have been better, especially regarding the recent storm that caused power outages and other issues.
